OK, maybe a stupid question here. Let's assume for a minute that S-CAL starts hiring off the street before the seniority lists are merged. Let's also assume that at the time the lists are merged, L-UAL still has guys out on furlough. These guys will have higher seniority numbers than the new hires. Are there automatic recalls and furloughs for the new guys?
