Really depends on your company, your contract, and your crew schedulers. I have the same thing this month and I chose to have it on days I was scheduled reserve. We have a contractual 10 days off min so if they added any more days somewhere else then they would owe me days off. It works for me because it gives me something scheduled on those days and it's not like I get used on reserve really anyways so they aren't in a hurry to screw me on it. But again depends on the company and the contract. And yes I agree it sucks the whole industry sucks and I think about getting out every day lol. Good luck!
