Not that USAA is any better--in fact; it's official,,, they suck since expanding the coverage pool, but the point is that Insurance companies are NOT insurance companies anymore. State Farm offers competetive rates simply because they (and the rest) don't pay many of the claims. Ask a Katrina victim about State Farm insurance and you'll start a fight. The new agreement is this: We (the insurance company) will offer a competivive rate with the understanding that if you make a claim, and the cliam is not too big or widespred (Katrina) then maybe we'll pay. So who's the real insurance company---You are ! Never ever think you're covered for anything by anyone--have a plan B. We've esentially come full circle.
