If the 757 is so tough and the 727 is so easy, you know 45 minute legs, then why didn't you or any of the other 757 guys bid to the 727 all these years?? I never understood why all the 757 guys whine and moan about the scheds, just bid over to the DC-8 or the 727 when that was an option. OK smart guy, let me start by saying that when I bid the 75, it was all I could get. I did not even bid the 72 because I don't live in the Ville and did not want to sit around some crash pad waiting for a CID round trip once a month. I actually don't mind the 75 sched. that much. My point was how bid a shock it is going to be for SOME of the 72 guys.
And nothing that I have posted is my opinion. It is just the way it is at UPS. The 72 has or soon to be had the easiest scheds. in the fleet.
