Some hired in 2005 upgraded in 2007. Age 65 delayed that, but now they hold 737 captain again.
The fast upgrades were primarily due to the lousy work rules. The seniority list was very lopsided with 20+ year First Officers on the widebodies and 2 year captains on the guppies.
