I am Atlanta based and I like it here. I don't mind reserve, when I have it. When I bid for a line, I generally have 4 day trips over the weekend. When I bid reserve, I generally have weekends off, and end up with extra days off. Looks like I will end up with 17 days off for September (they didn't use me 6 days, but I was available). Dulles only has something like 15 FO's on reserve, so there are lots of people junior to me who bid IAD to hold a line, but I would rather have 6am reserve over the weekend than commute for an FO position at a regional.
Good luck if you commute. I hear our commuter clause is pretty good, but I have no experience with it. Overall this is a good place to be while waiting for Delta/FedEx/SWA/etc.. to call.
