Nobody will become a captain overnight, there are these things called fences. It will all wash out over the next 5-10 years. Nobody will get a windfall.
Also, your really not comparing apples to apples. Doesn't matter what wonder bid they can currently hold, the snapshot will most likely be 2+ years ago. Everything since then is skewed and will most likely be completely ignored by the panel. If memory serves me correct, you also had furloughees recently, or are you suggesting that we be stapled behind them as well?
This is going to be a great place to work at if either side gets everything they think they are currently "entitled"
I sincerely hope nobody is happy with the results, myself including.
