No it isn't.
You can't take a 15+ year UAL pilot and staple him to the bottom of your list.
Thank goodness ALPA merger policy makes no mention of "pre merger percentage seniority".
CAL will look a little better than UAL at first when you look at junior guys getting beat up in the left seat with 7 years seniority, then longevity and career expectations of flying WAY more heavy jets will level the playing field a little.
CAL pilots will still gain seniority over a DOH type deal, so they should be happy.
Honestly....from 1983 until after 2000, CAL was on the bottom of most guys lists. This sudden superiority complex is kind of funny.
