It'll be really, really, hilarious when they are placed below pilots on the CAL list (i.e. furloughed UAL pilots) that are currently junior to them considering that the vast majority of furloughed UAL pilots have both a DOH and longevity advantage.
But that's a small price to pay for the benefit of all other CAL pilots, right?
Don't find any of this hilarious as you put it.
However I doubt any longevity credit other than active service will count for SLI. So there will be pain for all of those guys (both carriers)who were furloughed. I don't find any humor in that. There will be some pain in this integration for both sides, it's just a fact.
