Not sure that I would want to be that new hire either, given the ill will that would probably be tossed their way if things don't get sorted out with seniority rights/pay.
First, I don't work for Mesaba, and don't plan to. IMHO, it doesn't seem like the pilots currently employed there don't have anything to ***** about, nor should they direct their ill will towards new hires. If they didn't want to be seat locked, they should have had their MEC fight to take that out of the contract during negotiations. They should work together and direct that ill-will towards the company.
