Delta announces new LAX partner 03/01/2007
Delta today announced that Houston-based Express-Jet will be the new Delta Connection carrier in the Salt Lake City market and will take over flying for ASA our of LAX. The deal covers 10 50-seat ERJ-145XR aircraft that will start service as ASA transitions out of LAX from May to June 2007.

According to Delta, "The restructured Delta Connection program ensures that we have the cost-competitive regional flying required as we restructure our network, while providing excellent service for our customers."
