I'm sure they've hunkered down in Centre Port with their hordes of MBA toting "Consultants" trying to ascertain exactly why the operation has completely gone off the rails.

They already have the answer about why the operation has completely gone off the rails, it's because of pilots writing airplanes up last minute, don't worry about flights being cancelled 2 and 3 days in advance the fact that the mechanics are ****ed off as well as the gate agents. I believe AMR had this planned all along, when other carriers adjusted their fall schedules AMR said it wasn't but now it is magically reducing capacity 1-2%. So they sell the tickets by making more flights available but then shrink the schedule to increase load factor on the completed flights. It has already been proven that AA pilots are ****ed but not calling in sick much higher than the last year and actually less than this summer while the flight attendants are calling in sick at a higher pace.
