Someone in another forum made a good point - the 10 aircraft / 2 year (kinda short...) deal that XJT inked with DAL wasn't governed by the CAL CBA - IOW they could have done this for "at cost" just to place those planes. My guess is they wanted to do more (why only 10) but couldn't due to the CBA with CAL re:adjustment of rates etc.

Good news for XJT, but I wouldn't gloat too much. There are still some red flags. But overall, and I mean this sincerely, congrats! Now you can at least breathe a little easier! At least your company is winning RFP's...
