Many regional captains are set for their career and have no intentions of moving on. Hell the stagnation at the regional level due to the 65 etc has made a bunch of FO's with a lot of SIC time but minimal or no TPIC. If hours mean everything then they I believe will be missing out on many great candidates out there when the time comes. I do see their point that for the time being they can be as picky as they want..... But for 2 years seems a little extreme when USairways, DAL, etc will be also taking pilots away from the pool out there.... Those in excess of the above hours I think might have better options out there such as a Fedex, Southwest etc.........

Who knows maybe I'm crazy but I just dont see a pilot with the above resume not being competitive...... Also didnt CAL take regional FO's the last go around? Seem to recall that happening back in the 03 range....
