Actually per the contract the company can't ever reroute a pilot from one category to another. It was done in violation of the contract. The settlement in the grievance process was to pay double pay for the legs involved. I opposed this and felt DALPA should have insisted on compliance. This would have forced the company into a traditional shutdown of the domestic categories instead of slowly bleeding them to death.
