There are plenty of guys with stars in their eyes and no self respect or responsibility lined up waiting for all of our jobs. I wouldn't count on that changing any time soon. I feel really bad for the Pinacolaba crowd. It could very well have been any of us.

When it comes to providing for ones family I can only speak for myself. If my airline goes belly up the last thing you will see me do is apply at another regional. I'd rather quit the industry than subject my family and myself to this pathetic industry. I have no idea what I would do, but almost anything pays better than a crappy regional.

When I hear all of the "Doom" spoken about a supposed upcoming pilot shortage, I think of all the guys being driven from the industry. I wonder how many guys will stick around and re-apply to another regional after being a furloughed captain. How do you even go from making 60 to 90k to 18k? I presume this is what Delta is counting on.
