Yes, in both cases. Jetstar, however, don't 'officially' require 500 on type, like most Airbus operators over here. Just 500 in a multi crew modern jet.
That said, you'd be nuts to go to Jetstar, if you can go to Tiger (or just about anywhere else, frankly). Jetstar are hiring for their up coming launch in Hong Kong, also. However, significant discussion is occurring locally, on the subject of how long it will last. Singapore doesn't come close to HK when it comes to upstart competition, from CX, HKA, HKE and all the mainland carriers.
I reckon they'll get schooled. Upstarts don't have the best reputations for success in HK.
