$2500/mo pay while in MCO, hotel is paid for (single occupancy), roughly 6.5weeks from day 1 to leaving the schoolhouse. After training you usually have a period of time (3 days to 2 weeks+) before you start your Initial Operating Experience, where you fly with a check airman and he teaches you how to operate the plane out in the real world. During this time you will need to have a crashpad set up in your base if you dont live there, so start looking for crashpads when you are nearing the end of sim training.
After your final sim checkride I believe you go on 70hrs flight pay per month, then youll probably be on reserve and move up to 75hrs when you finish IOE. Year 1 pay is $47/hr
Uniforms are completely paid for. 5 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, belt, 2 ties, leather jacket or blazer.
The training experience down in Orlando is a good one. Enjoy it, make friends with your classmates and instructors you come in contact with. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone wants you to suceed.
Helps if you have an awesome sim partner.
