From a legal standpoint, a "simple traffic ticket" is usually considered an "infraction" and not a misdemeanor. That is unless it is a ticket issued for something more than standard speeding or running a light such as reckless operation and so on. However, some states classify speeding tickets as misdemeanors (e.g. Texas, speeding is a class c misdemeanor). It varies by state.

Personally, I have no idea how airlineapps racks and stacks the individual apps for their customers. I answered yes on mine for the 2 (knock on wood) moving violations I've had in 30 plus years of driving and indicated the year and the offense (speeding and passing in a non passing zone).

Best I can say is be honest and up front.
