Agreed. Deadheading seems to go through phases for me. At first, all my domestic DHs were on USAir because they're consistently $200 cheaper than anyone else (surprisingly, they've been on time with good service). Lately, for whatever reason, I've been getting direct flights on Delta. When I first got on line, all my flights to Europe were in business class on the airlines. Lately, the company will spend three days of my pattern getting me to/from Europe on one of our airplanes. Even a full freighter is far, far superior to the crew rest seats on my pax 767, so you'll hear no complaints from me.
