Problem with that translation is it is overly simplistic. In actuality there is a JOINT NEGOTIATING COMMITTEE that has already agreed on a plan to finalize the TA based on direction from the MECs. The final TA product will be a direct result of what the JNC does and agrees to at the table. If it then gets by both MECs to the pilot group, many pilot representatives and negotiators on both sides will have had to agree on this very question...whichever way it turns out in the TA. That goes for every item in the TA and I will hold both MECs equally responsible for the outcome.

I know no matter what happens though there will be pilots on both sides blaming the other's MEC for their lot in life going forward.
