While on reserve you are guaranteed 10 days off per month. LGA would be real easy to get out of training. It is understaffed there and will probably continue to be. The flying there is mostly out and backs, but there have been a few more multi day trips added for next month. It is constantly changing. And Junior manning is going into work on your day off. You get 4 hours of pay for it, plus the hours that you fly that day. So it isn't that bad of a deal.
Well, it is a bad deal if it is mandatory and you had something planned that day. Sometimes I really don't care if they paid me 10 hours, I just don't want to be bothered. Oh and is it not considered JRA if they grab you at the end of a scheduled work day for a repo or another leg?
