I cannot quote it, and even so, there'd be nothing I could do about it now. I'm not the only one in this boat. The company would be flirting with a heavy sick-out during the holidays if they f'd with this. I'm pretty sure this was not even on the table.

I'm sure they also realize not everyone realistically plans to 'blow' all their PTO time on a big get-away. It would suck to come back, break both legs in a car crash, and then have no sick/PTO left. For those who have lots saved, it might mean an extra week or so of VAC.

There is a one time reduction of 21hrs contribution to the PTO for 2013, though. Don't know if that applies to a certain seniority, but that right there is a hit.
