I work here and I have never once heard a fellow employee say that anything is "just right around the corner".
There will be a separation for one simple reason. Bedford, Hellar, the RAH Board, and Siegel want to get paid. Siegel did not come to Frontier to run this little 'ole airline, he came here to collect on an IPO. The RAH BoD decided not to cleave off F9 last year because they all watched the Spirit IPO and figured they could duplicate the performance. None of these "leaders" cares about Frontier, or the Frontier employees. They only care about getting paid. Greed is a tremendous motivator.
There is a reason why all of the regional flying by RAH for F9 was changed to a CPA.
There is a reason the remaining 5 190's are going away.
There is a reason why all of the 318's are gone, and all of the 319's and 320's have added seats.
There is a reason why Frontier Crew Scheduling just moved back to Denver.
There is a reason why Frontier just launched a new website.
There is a reason why Frontier Airlines has worked for over 12 months on rebuilding all of the infrastructure that was dismantled after the BK auction. At the beginning of 2011, the GO was empty. The overflow corporate office at the Highplain Building was empty. The Company downsized the training department and the CAE Airbus sim center was closed.
Today the GO is full.
A lease was just executed on the Highplains building.
The Frontier training department just went shopping for an Airbus sim.
Nothing I will write here will convince you of any proof, but Frontier will be sold. It remains to be seen if that will in fact be a "good" event for the employees of Frontier, but the boys that make the decision want to get paid so it is going to happen.

The "proposal" from M7 Capital down in NOLA is a joke and will never come to fruition. One can never say never in aviation, but this is about as close as someone can get to never.
