What legacy is hiring? Delta announced no hiring in 2013, American is shrinking with guys on furlough going on 11 years, United/Continental still have furloughs as well with domestic route overlap being trimmed up. USAirways? Yeah, nobody is leaving JetBlue for USAirways..... As for 2013, JetBlue is the only game in town.

For no upgrades on the horizon? The latest supplemental bid showed guys upgrading at 5 years seniority.

150-250 is what I heard directly from the top. Numbers can change though.

Obviously, you haven't been in aviation long enough to realize that predicting more than 1 year in the future is nothing more than astrology. Sure retirements are scheduled, but economy, fuel prices, wars, and other unseen events can change EVERYTHING.

Jetblue's delivery schedule shows for every 10 planes delivered, 3 are retired. It's been that way for a couple years now. Not sure where you are getting your information.
