My last flight on Delta, cost 60 dollars to check bags, and they managed to damage a Luggage Works roll aboard that I checked.
Baggage service response was we don't cover that damage . Inflight service was bad even when compared with AA in their current problems.
Didn't travel in uniform so I was just another paying passenger who was treated like crap.
I didn't expect bread sticks or a drink.
Took a trip up to DC on USAir a few months back with the husband and we had to pay extra for an exit row ,we did get the obligatory beverage though .
No IFE on that flight so we had to keep ourselves entertained .
I found out what it was like to sit in the last row on a 737 on the bumpy trip back .

Unfortunately those who are willing to pay for service are outnumbered by those who will not.
