Actually there Matt, "former" Marine is the preferred term. I believe you are alluding to the term ex-marine which is incorrect. Thus the term "there are no ex-marines, only former marines." Thank you for your family's service. I personally hate bathrobes and only bought one over 20 years ago because my wife suggested I get one. It is still in my closet and never gets used.

I only mentioned the Marines because of the use of great santini as an avatar. The Great Santini is a movie from the late 70's based on a book about a Marine fighter pilot.
