No disrespect intended ... this is only partially as response to you and partially a response to some other things that have been written on the latest tempest in a tea pot.
Do you really think anyone is "PO'd," or is it more likely some A 300 LCA thought he might score a point with the boss for getting another pilot in hot water?
I would guess our senior management does not get any more "PO'd" at a staff issue than a senior Captain get's emotional about a common mechanical issue. The routine is the same, pull the HR checklist and mitigate the threat. The threat might even be a guy who runs to management instead of taking the more direct path of contacting the web board Mods, or Pro Standards.
For some reason, some pilots, seem to think this is an emotional business ... it isn't, it is business.
FWIW, there are some hyper accurate posts made on this board that are much more revealing than the LCA's notes. Mostly they calm folks down and give them hope that our continued pattern of shrinkage and displacement might be abated at some point in the future. Those posts are good for morale.
