Recently the company has announced that it actually is not going to grow at the originally anticipated rate and actually will shrink slightly. It intends to sell all the 1900s and replace them one for one with a Dash. Very few people senior to me are leaving the company and are very excited about the Dash coming on line. This now makes upgrade a LEAST a year from now, probably longer.
I need to decide, and soon, whether I should stick this out or move on to a Regional that has Jets and an early upgrade time. Presently, I am comparing CommutAir with Chautauqua, Pinnacle, and SkyWest along with many others.
Presently I am commuting from Michigan. But I am willing to relocate. I was looking for a home in CLE up until the news of this much longer upgrade time.
Any advice on whether I should stay put or move on, and if so where, would be much appreciated.
If you're looking for a home in CLE, why not make the move to Expressjet? Upgrade in 2 years, bid for CLE, fly jets...What could be better right?
