Yeah it's the 3G iPad 2.

I had an iPad 1 w/o 3G before, love the differences of the newer one. Haven't ever had an issue with it or foreflight. Sometimes it takes awhile to acquire if I don't turn it on before departing as far The GPS is concerned.

I've honestly haven't used the data plan yet, I got it only for the GPS receiver and the "just incase" for Internet since you can buy month to month if you want it.
