If you wanna be out west, take the EMB first year and transition to the jet after the seat lock is up. It pays the same and will give you a lot of rich flying experience. Taking the jet and hoping the music doesn't stop is a pretty big gamble. More often than not it pays to be careful in this business
In less than a year someone can have a guaranteed line in SFO, LAX, PSP, and FAT on the Brasilia. I will never understand why so many people fight to get on the RJ right away then complain about being stuck in ORD or MSP when they want to live in LA. Especially since the pay is the same first year.
