I would say it's of mild concern, but we're not quaking in our boots just yet. We have agreements in place to convert quite a large number of our 50 seaters to 70 seaters if required. With attrition likely to rise dramatically next year and any phase out of the 50 seaters to take at least a couple of years, I wouldn't expect to see any furloughs as a result.
I would have thought that any new aircraft are likely to be CRJs purely because that's what L-ASA and SKW operate. The 170/175 would certainly be the preference for many of us at L-XJT as we know and like the Embraer product, but as long as they pay me correctly and on time then I don't care what I fly....sadly they can't do that properly at the moment though!
