I would have thought that any new aircraft are likely to be CRJs purely because that's what L-ASA and SKW operate. The 170/175 would certainly be the preference for many of us at L-XJT as we know and like the Embraer product, but as long as they pay me correctly and on time then I don't care what I fly....sadly they can't do that properly at the moment though!
Just a question. I understand about the swap from 50 to 70 seats, however, who's to say the give them to the LXJT side? Was there something about it in the contract that LXJT guys fly them?

I honestly don't know, just wondering what would stop the LASA side from getting them?
The transition and process agreement doesn't allow transfer of aircraft between CPAs.

Well the TPA does say they can move 129 a/c (From XJET and ASA) and start a new company.

That should get us onboard in a hurry.
No it doesn't. But if they transfer theses aircraft to Skywest, 10 pilots per aircraft go with seniority and longevity.

JA's a smart man. He has history with ASA not XJT.
100% agree. They think they hold the cards, they got bought, Jerry isn't in idiot, they don't play ball...well I'm sure it's not going to be the happy ending they were hoping for.
Wait, we aren't the only ones who got bought! But I'm ok with unhappy ending here. I've got plan B. Everyone should have a plan B.

Many L-XJT pilots think their 145s are some sort of a golden goose. I have heard many say they are in no hurry to get a SLI done since L-ASA is losing 50s like crazy. I believe there will be a rude awakening for those with that ideology whenever the United TA is ratified
Either they relax scope and then exercise the larger aircraft replacement clause in the XJT CPA or they keep the limit to 50 seat jets. Personally, I wish they could/would scope everything in with UAL colors.

Do you have proof or is this something you've heard? Link/source/PDF? There is a lot of language in many contracts, any way it can be worked around?
The TPA is part of the ASA contract. If you are an ASA pilot, you can look it up.
