I'm wondering if the ZED changes coincide with ASA starting UAL express flying.

I was under the impression if your carrier flies exclusively for DAL your carrier can piggy back on their interline agreements, but if you start flying for another code your airline is on its own for interline agreements. That could be totally wrong but that is how it was explained to me last year.
