I am very concerned that some people don't realize that negotiations require give and take on both sides. This will not come down to a situation where the company gives and we take. Reality dictates that we MAY have to give up in one area to get something in another. The goal is to have a better OVERALL contract for everyone, not sticking on one point when we have may have made other gains. This is supposed to be a stepping stone, not a destination. Amen. I don't get how you read The CrackPipe and you have the same people saying one minute how they intend to get out of this place ASAP, so they don't care if it shuts down, then the next minute pounding their chest how it's current book L-XJT +20% or nothing. If you're going to UAL next year, why does it matter?
