IMHO, the next DALPA scope goal WRT RJ's needs to be no 'next-gen' power plants or turboprops at DCI, that will remove the problem through natural efficiency without the need for charts/ratios/fleet counts.
This was a primary reason for me voting no on the TA... the jumbo RJs coming online are already long term viable.
I hope they do this, though.... but in my talks with "captain" AG (
), he doesn't think RJs should be at mainline at the payrates we have on them now.
