Hey now, EVERY SINGLE PILOT that went out to HNL took a vacancy for that base without waiting for our union to negotiate terms for that base. There were no displacements to that base. I have ZERO sympathy for those people. A little unity would have gone a long way.

Sounds like classic "I forgot to update my standing bid-itis". Dumbass probably forgot he had a standing bid for CMH in there since we don't run vacancies very often. He wasn't displaced, he is probably just confused because it feels like an invol-displacement.
This happens OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER because people intially get their 1st choice vacancy and (at a subsequent vacancy/displacement event) forget to update their bid and receive their old second choice. Forcing them to take the bid that they forgot about.
