I wouldn't be so sure. There are no limitations on your medical, So you can truthfully answer "none". Some applications will specially ask if you have a special issuance, for that I would reply yes.
The regionals are/will be hurting for pilots. If you've got the hours, you've got a shot.
Also get out there to job fairs where you can meet recruiters face to face and possibly explain your situation or just hand them a resume and talk to them. Your resume doesn't have to list an SI, just list 1st class - no limitations.
It's the review board on these airlines that will need to be convinced.
If the problem is no longer an issue and only requires monitoring for 6 years to ensure no recurrence and a recurrence seems unlikely, then I would say you have an excellent chance.
