Actually, Tricare Standard has made the Delta Plans affordable for me since they cover most of the co-pays and deductibles. Other than the premiums I have not had any out of pocket costs (for prescription drugs, doctor or hospital visits).
I bought the ASI Tricare supplement via Delta enrollment. I just used it this week for a knee surgery. I'll report back on how much they covered and ease of use. I'm a Tricare Standard enrollee. The tricare sup is around $70 for the member $120 for family.
