The "HAMMER" was the company discussing Furloughs of our guys and simply "move some of them over" to the ASA side. What the company failed to realize was they can't just furlough without offering COLAS and RFLs etc..... I think once we reminded them of this they changed their mind.
XJT flys 870,000 block hrs, losing 34,000 is not the end of the world. The CRJ is in a good position because they fly the larger dual class airplanes, the 50 seat model is shrinking, and will shrink more in the future (IMO).
The ASA MEC has not been gloating to our MEC at all, they know how ****ty the deal is, because it was done to them not too long ago
