CFI jobs don't pay well and often offer absolutely no benefits. People with that kind of experience leave for better jobs. Also all CFIs have to start somewhere. If you think you can walk into any flight school and not find a handful of brand new CFIs you're in for a surprise.
Give the guy a chance. Tell him why you dislike his style rather than questioning his qualifications on an Internet forum. No matter how much you think he's unqualified remember that you're still probably two full time years from even being as qualified as he is.
