Wonder if the guys making that decision are the same type as those that testified against my bunk in the arbitration? It sucks that our own are working against us. Hope they have fun when they're flying.
All fleets are PIC type rated now (except maybe the 88 and 9). It doesn't have anything to do with international crew rest.
I didn't see any trip drops. It looked like a normal time out sick until he ran out of sick time, then went onto SLOA (NBC SIC) where you can't bid anymore. When he got his medical back, he went NQAT until he got his TOE. That's the way it goes normally, and that's what I saw.
I've barked up a number of trees to crosscheck what you said, as well as DBMS searches, and none agree with your assertions.
Kudos on "your" bunk... too bad about the arbitration.
