Barb and arrow slinging, beneath us and not worthy to breathe our air vile, self-centered and non-unifying tripe, and completely baseless and uncalled for rhetoric. That is unifying? Telling an employee group we think you are subservient and we want to help you end your meekness and submissiveness? That is unifying? You think the CAL employees should find that paragraph somehow gratifying? That we now have the white knight come to help release us from our bondage?

Not the way the statement reads. Management does think we are ALL subservient and should continue to do so but this paragraph did nothing but divide. The whole letter was great until the that part. Completely unnecessary statement.

I agree a change needs to happen and should the UAL pilots not jump at the pay raise opportunity that is seemingly in front of their face, we might have a chance.

If you can't see the insult insinuated here, you're not going to have unity. All these quips do is prove the statement about the attitude you have is true.

You want unity? It starts with everyone on the same page, focused towards the same goal and the same outcome.
