Read them side by side if you get a chance sometime. Not just the work rules, but 401K, other contributions, and sick time, etc. Then get back.

I'm not saying the CRJ CBA is bad, but read them side by side and a few more things may make sense.

What was the measuring stick for "same"? If it's the "same" as the CRJ CBA, that's a concession. That's just plain and simple fact. Like I said, read the ERJ CBA and you'll understand. Many of the differences between the two CBA's have been covered in multiple other threads.

Along those lines, what's the measuring stick for "better"?

Let me give you an example. ERJ airport standby is 4 hours, CRJ is 8. If the JCBA has airport standby at 6 hours, well that's "better" for the CRJ side, but is it better than the ERJ side?

See what I'm getting at?
