Are these two responses REALLY coming from the guys that like to preach "you don't understand your new management!!! They'll exploit every loophole they can!!!!"

Even if one can't bid for RR; the reserves from both sides would love 6 hours credit from a RR. I can tell you as a RR pilot multiple times per month, we would ALL benefit! Would you rather work 6, 4 hour periods for 24 hours credit, or 6, 6 hour periods for 36 hours credit! If, like you say, the company prevents you from breaking 75 hours, wouldn't this rule create more un-used days for reserves?!
What part of my post didn't you get? It's simple, they'll just become more efficient, or rather "cost competitive". Sure, take the 6 hour standby and count it toward your 75. When it starts to add up they'll just make sure to assign flying that doesn't have you break 75 hours.
Also, have you read the ERJ CBA, specifically the reserve section?

It also means less guys have to do ready reserve. The company will get the coverage they need at the airport. If it means more or less bodies. I'd rather be compensated and do it less times than the way you currently do it.
Same question applies to you, have you read the ERJ CBA reserve section?
