hey, i heard UA took paycuts in 1953! those bastards! you wanna talk about screwing up the industry!

and how about those airmail pilots in 1933, huh?

hey, blueballs, i mean, bluebrother, in case you haven't noticed, and judging by your posts, you haven't, the current industry slide started after 911. i know you love to blame "scabenental" for the JB contract (5 years, right? nothing better than a company who recognizes your contributions by giving you individual, personal 5-year contracts that may or may not renew) but until you guys decided you could make piles of money (hint: the piles are for neeleman, not you serfs) selling $19.00 seats, we were in pretty good shape as an industry.

but, heck, i welcome you guys to the bloodletting! i'm thankfully out of it in about 8 years and you can have the careers of your lives living on less than i made 10 years ago!

now, don't forget to get out your copy of "jet blue: how to turn otherwise intelligent people into automatons who spout the company line and don't question anything, for fun and profit" (l. ron neeleman's profit, not yours). it's the companion book to "airlinetics: the new science of koolaid drinking" by l. ron neeleman.

"l. ron, l. ron, l. ron, l. ron..."
