If a 4 day or two filter through the people above you and are enough to complete your schedule, you get the benefit of having a couple weeks off without worrying about scheduling tracking you down or moving your days off.

The only way that it does affect the senior folks is that when you don't get a reserve line you can pick up and swap trips, etc. That could be adjusted though. Keep the benefit of not being on reserve when on vacation, but not be able to pick up extra open time, etc.

I dunno. I think overall PBS has been a huge improvement for us. I get why the ERJ guys don't like it. They had a sweet deal that eventually will go away. Get your time, and get out. Everyone will be hiring like gangbusters in a year or two.
