The problem is the guys screaming the loudest ARE the low time guys themselves that see no point in paying dues or building experience before putting on the uniform. MAPD/FSA direct track/Jet U/Gulfstream don't come close to a million dollar military training program. Plus, the selection process for the military is a cut above just having a checking account.
