The problem with that is we've had an opportunity to see what happens when you stick your head in the sand (see Europe). When the bill comes due it is not a pretty sight. But hey, I see your way of looking at it: pretend it doesn't matter who would have won and the end result would have been the same...enjoy the ride until the wake up call comes. Votes have consequences, and unfortunately we've chosen poorly.
