I didn't go to the ATL fair but went to a job fair in the summer of 2011, in Chicago. It was worth the time and money in my case. I gained several opportunities and ultimately a job I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. At the time I had less than 100 hours multi time which means my airline app would never have been seen by recruiters. Going to the fair allowed me to meet recruiters and give them my resume. I was offered formal interviews by three regionals. The one I work for now offered me a job as long as I got my multi time up to 100 hours, at which point they scheduled me a new hire class.
